What is “The Daily Buzz?”

This is my first year as a beekeeper.  As a graduate student in entomology studying via the University of Florida (I actually live on San Juan Island in Washington), I have wonderful things I’m learning that I’d like to share with you.  This page will be a journal of my experiences with my bees.  You will get to share with me on my journey and find out what goes wrong…and what goes right.   Hopefully what I learn will be something I can pass along to others who may discover their love of bees and want to try it out themselves.

So, check back regularly for updates and photos.  Feel free to email me with questions!  I hope my stories will entertain and inspire you to love the bees too.
